Managing appointments (edit, reschedule, cancel)

You can open any appointment from the Schedule tab to view details, update the visit, or remove it from the active calendar.

Open appointment details

From Schedule, tap a date, then tap the appointment in the list. You will see the pet, client, services, time, and actions available for that visit.

Edit or reschedule

Tap Edit when it is available. You can change date, time, services, and other editable fields, then save. If Edit does not appear, the visit may already be in a state where changes are locked (for example after checkout has progressed in a way that locks the appointment).

Cancel an appointment

Tap Cancel Appointment. The app asks you to confirm. A cancelled visit is removed from the active schedule (it is archived, not left on the calendar as a normal booking).

Status flow (check-in, complete, no-show)

At the top of the appointment screen, banners suggest the next steps for that visit, such as:

  • Check In when the client arrives
  • Complete Service when the groom is done
  • Checkout when it is time to collect payment (opens checkout for that visit)
  • Mark No-Show when the client did not arrive (you may be prompted about a no-show fee)

You can also use Undo actions when the app offers them, for example to step back from check-in or completion if you tapped the wrong thing.

When it is time to collect payment, use Checkout from the appointment (or start a sale from Home > Sales) and follow the prompts to take payment.
